Kyungwoo Chun, International Young Art 2002 finalist, from South Korea, lives and works in Bremen, Germany. He has held numerous solo exhibitions of one of his collections Thirty Minutes Dialog in the past few years including at The Sungkok Art Museum in Seoul, 2001, and, Gallery Image, Aarhus, Denmark in 2001. Also in 2001, Kyungwoo participated at The Bremer Foerderpreis fuer Bildende Kunst, Staetische Gallery Buntenor in Bremen, Germany. Kyungwoo was awarded an Artist Scholarship in Delmenhorst, Germany for 2001-2002. Kyungwoo has been selected to participate in ArtLink’s Focus on Korea exhibition in Tel Aviv in November 2003.

Orit Frielich, International Young Art 2001
finalist, from Israel, held numerous solo and group exhibitions
in the past few years including a video exhibit and performance
called Ima Hot 4 (The four biblical mothers) at Beit Berl’s
Art School’s Gallery in Kfar Sava, Israel in 2002. Orit is
a highly acclaimed instructor and fashion designer at Shenkar
Design School in Tel-Aviv. Her work Catsuit I sold for $3,450
at ArtLink’s International Young Art 2001.

Erez Golan, International Young Art 1998
finalist, a photographer from Israel, held numerous solo and
group exhibitions in the past few years including his third
solo exhibition at the Nelly Aman Gallery, Tel Aviv in 1999
and an exhibition at the Diego Rivera Gallery at the San Francisco
Art Institute and at the Philadelphia Print Center 74th Annual
Juried Exhibition in 2000. Erez was awarded the Sharet Fund
award 5 years in a row form 1996-2000 inclusive. In October
2002 Erez participated in October Report Special Exhibition
and Auction with two new works. His work Sailboats - Composition
1 - 9 sold for $7,200 at ArtLink’s Special Auction on www.sothebys.com
in 2001.

Carl Jaycock, International Young Art 2001
finalist, from England, has held numerous solo exhibitions
including at The Atrium Gallery, Pricewaterhouse, London in
2002 and a digital image/sound installation at The Birmingham
City Council House in Birmingham in 2001. He has also taken
part in many group exhibitions including Paper exhibition
at the Arts and Crafts Council in London and The Fresh Art
Fair, Islington design and business center in London. He has
completed several Artist Residencies including YOTA at The
Birmingham City Council and several banner commissions for
successful companies throughout the UK. He was also the £5000
prize winner at The Sotheby Shrewsbury Open presented by Martin
Linton MP. In October 2002 Carl participated in October Report
Special Exhibition and Auction with two new works. His works
are sold at prices ranging from £300 to £10,000.

Michael Krynski, International Young Art
1998 finalist, born in Poland, lives and works in New York.
In 2000 Michael held exhibitions and performances at the Williamsburg
Art and Historical Center in Brooklyn, at the Bronx river
Gallery in New York and at the Cave Gallery in New York. In
December 2002 Michael exhibited at the Mostel Gallery, N.Y.,
selling his works at prices ranging from $3500 to $6500. His
work Lovers sold for $9,000 at ArtLink’s International Young
Art 1998. Following the sale Michael was commissioned by the
City of New York to place three installation pieces in Soho,
which got him the cover page of the Sunday Times Art Section
in 1998.

Jeong-im Lee, International Young Art 2000
finalist, from South Korea, held numerous solo and group exhibitions
in the past two years including at The Sungkok Art Museum
in Seoul, 2001, The Chaumont Exhibition, Chaumont, France
2001, and at Young Painters at the You Gallery in Seoul, 2002.
Jeong-im was elected as one of the Korean team members to
participate in the “Eleven & Eleven Korea-Japan Contemporary
Art” exhibition organized with the occasion of the world soccer
games, featuring eleven Korean artists at the Gallery Q in
Tokyo and eleven Japanese artists at the Sungkok Art Museum,
Seoul, June 2002. In October 2002 Jeong-im participated at
October Report Special Exhibition and Auction and was again
one of ArtLink’s top sellers.

Michal Ohana-Cole, International Young Art
2002 finalist, a photographer from Israel, held numerous solo
and group exhibitions in the past few years including Out-Moded
at Sotheby’s and Challenge the Nail at Salon Des Arts, both
in 2001. Michal is set to participate in Sotheby’s 6th Contemporary
Decorative Arts Exhibition (CDA) in February 2003 in London.
Her work Untitled 3/5 & 4/5 (Roses) sold for $3,450 at ArtLink’s
International Young Art 2002. Michal lives and works in London.

Predrag Sebastian Pajdic, International Young
Art 2001 finalist, born in the Former Republic of Yugoslavia,
lives and works in London. His perfect draftsmanship and interest
in human anatomy confer him an increasing prestige among the
young artists. “Pajdic seems preoccupied with the disparity
between the softness of the man’s outer appearance and the
harsh, almost machine-like cluster of components within” writes
Richard Cork from The London Times about his works shown in
The New anatomists exhibition, at the Two Gallery, London
2001. Predrag initiated and curated, in collaboration with
Paul Ryan, “Crossing the Border”, an exhibition dedicated
to artists working in non-EC European countries at The Marley
Gallery, London, in March-April 2002. In the same year Predrag
exhibited at The Turner Gallery, Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA
. His work Voctory sold for $6,750 at ArtLink’s International
Young Art 2001.

Michael E. Rollins, Jr., International Young
Art 2000 finalist, from USA, held numerous solo and group
exhibitions in the past few years including Urbanity: images
of architecture, Museum of Contemporary Art, Fort Collins,
Colorado in 2002 and three exhibitions at The Mastel Gallery
in Brooklyn, New York in 2001. His work Ticker Painting sold
for $9,200 at ArtLink’s International Young Art 2000. “A stock
Ticker represents the universal language of a capitalist economy.
I blend real NYSE symbols with imaginary ones to form phrases
based on literature, musical lyrics, and well-loved expressions.”

Yehudit Sasportas, International Young Art 1999 finalist, from Israel, is a sculptor, whom has held numerous solo exhibitions including at Deitch Projects in New York Valencia Biennial and MARTIX at The Berkeley Art Museum in San Francisco, all in 2001. She has taken part in many group exhibitions including at The Barbara Davis Gallery in Houston, Texas and Walk About at K3 Kampanagel in Hamburg, Germany and at The Ramat Gan Museum in Israel. Yehudit was awarded several awards and grants including The Israeli Art Prize from The Nathan Gottesdiener Foundation and The Tel Aviv Museum of Art in 1999.

Liina Siib, International Young Art 2000 finalist, a photographer from Estonia, held numerous solo and group exhibitions in the past few years including Children’s Album I and II in Tartu and Tallinn, Estonia in 2000. She also participated in Parallel at the Finnish Photography Museum in Helsinki, Finland in 2000, and in Estonian Photography from the 1960’s to the Present at The House of Hungarian Photographers in Budapest, Hungary. She is the recipient of several awards including The UNDP Art Award in 1998. In October 2002 Liina participated in October Report Special Exhibition and Auction with two new works.

Salla Katriina Tykka, International Baltic Art 1999 finalist, from Finland, represented her country at the Venice Biennale in 2001. Her video works and particularly Power, reexhibited at the Yvon Lambert Gallery in Paris, December 2002, gave her international recognition. Salla obtained her first special commission from the Nordic Institute for Contemporary Art and her first monograph in 2001. In January 2002 she participated in the International Film-Makers Showcase in Bristol and in April-June in New Video Work from Finland Sheffield, United Kingdom. In the same year her works were shown in the Canadian Film Center’s Worldwide Short Film Festival, Toronto, Canada.
