Stephanie Rew was born in Scotland in 1971. Rew was educated at the Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee, Scotland and in 1994 won the Elizabeth Greenshields Award. Rew concentrates on figurative paintings of the human figure and is influenced by the works of Lucien Freud, Caravaggio, Rubens and Titian. Rew frequently exhibits in solo exhibitions worlwide.
